Candle Care

Candle Care:
Trim and center your wicks before each use. The flames can get out-of-control if the wick is left untrimmed, which leads to flickering, smoke and soot. If you keep the wick length between 1/8″ and 1/4″ it will last for many many hours. Our candles are conservatively rated to burn for 45-55 hours.

Fragrance:
Our candles are made with the maximum recommended amount of fragrance/essential oils. If you’re not smelling the scent on the candle, it may be because the room is too large for this size candle. You can increase/concentrate the scent by moving it to a smaller room or purchasing additional candles for your larger room.

Appearance:
If your candle looks frosty or appears to have “wet spots”:
You may notice what appears to be “wet spots” on your candle, as well as what looks like frost- these are not flaws in the candles but natural characteristics of pure soy wax and actually a testament to the lack of paraffin and preservatives in soy candles. Neither of these characteristics in any way affect the scent throw or burning properties of the candles. Frosting does not affect the scent throw or the burning properties of the candle.
